Michael Robinson

CEO

Michael Robinson is CEO of ynvisible and joined Ynvisible’s executive team in September 2020. Previously he was Director of Open Innovation & Business Development for Packaging Innovation at L’Oréal USA. His role at L’Oréal centered on technology scouting & strategy, business development, and integrating business and design best practices to accelerate and launch new packaging, products, and experiences. An Industrial Designer by training, Michael has previously held positions in Hasbro Toys, Bliss World LLC, and Colgate-Palmolive.

Jani-Mikael Kuusisto

SR VP Ventures & DIRECTOR

Jani-Mikael Kuusisto, SR VP Ventures of Ynvisible, is a seasoned business development professional at the cross-sections of the physical and digital worlds.  With over 15 years of experience in the field of printed electronics, Jani-Mikael has built extensive networks to customers, suppliers and researchers in the field - particularly related to Consumer Packaged Goods, IoT, and wearables applications. Jani-Mikael was first hired by Ynvisible in 2011 as its Chief Business Development Officer, and has been appointed CEO of the company with the closing of the RTO transaction with Ynvisible Interactive Inc. in January 2018.

Carlos Pinheiro

CTO

Carlos is Ynvisible's CTO. Carlos' PhD thesis was a crucial piece in the development of Ynvisible’s electrochromic display technology. He is responsible for the technical content of Ynvisible’s patent portfolio. He also leads all the scientific and technical activities and developments within Ynvisible. Carlos has a PhD in Physical Chemistry from the New University of Lisbon.

Tommy Höglund

VP OF SALES AND MARKETING

Tommy Höglund joined Ynvisible in November 2019 as the Vice President of Sales & Marketing. Tommy is responsible for global sales, client activities, and sales channel development. Tommy has nearly 10 years of experience in business development, networking activities, sales and marketing in the field of Printed Electronics in Sweden and internationally. He was previously at RISE (Acreo Swedish ICT), a pioneering Printed Electronics applied research institute. He held the position of Business Development Manager for the Swedish Innovation Cluster – Printed Electronics Arena and as business developer at RISE Acreo. Tommy’s efforts focused on bringing to market the Printed Electronics innovations developed at RISE and Linköping University, which have resulted in the spin-off of 5 companies.

Darren Urquhart

CFO

Mr. Urquhart is a chartered professional accountant with more than 15 years of experience working in both public practice and industry. Mr. Urquhart obtained his chartered accountant designation in 2001 and is a member of the Chartered Professional Accountants of British Columbia (CPABC).

Ramin Heydarpour

Director, Chairman

Ramin Heydarpour is the Founder and Managing Partner of FLEX R&D, an Engineering Consulting firm that specializes in product development for Packaging, Flexible Electronics, Brand Identification and Decoration. He has a track record of inventing and developing new products in a broad range of applications including liquid packaging, RFID tags, and heat transfer labels. He has 22 granted patents. For the last two years Ramin has focused on delivering results for FLEX R&D´s current clients in packaging and flexible electronics. He is also building a formal network of subject matter experts and technology partners in the field of roll-to-roll product and process development.

Inês Henriques

Director, Co-Founder

Inês Henriques is a co-founder and Director of Ynvisible. She was CEO of Ynvisible from the creation of the company to the closing of the RTO transaction with Ynvisible Interactive Inc. in January 2018. Inês led the founding of the company, designed the organization of the new commercial entity, was responsible for building a highly competent team and has also been actively involved in the development of the company’s core IP portfolio, and in establishing Ynvisible’s first manufacturing partnership and wider partner networks. She currently leads operations. Inês has a degree in Environmental Engineering from the New University of Lisbon and a PhD in Civil Engineering from Virginia Tech.

Alex Helmel

Director

Alex Helmel is a management consultant with specific expertise facilitating private to public market transitions and the reorganization of distressed public vehicles for the purpose of reverse takeovers or amalgamations and their subsequent redeployment into the Canadian capital markets. Mr. Helmel has served as a director and/or officer for numerous private and listed CSE and TSX-V companies.

Alex Langer

Director

Alex Langer is a successful public markets specialist with over eighteen years of experience in all aspects of equity financing. He worked with Canaccord Genuity for four years as an Investment Advisor, where he helped fund over 100 private and publicly listed companies in various sectors including technology, mining, healthcare, forestry, and green technology. Mr. Langer has served as a director and/or officer for numerous private and listed CSE and TSX-V companies.

Ben Leboe is a Director of Nevada Exploration Inc. (NGE:V) and a Director of URZ Energy Corp. Mr. Leboe has a business degree from the University of British Columbia, is a Certified Management Consultant and a retired Business Valuator/Chartered Accountant (CA, CPA).

Dr. Michael Okoroafor

Vice President Global Sustainability and Packaging Innovation – McCormick & Co

Dr. Okoroafor is highly acclaimed for his achievements in the consumer packaging industry. In October 2018 Mike was inducted into the Packaging and Processing Hall of Fame at PACK EXPO International. Mike is an innovation leader and has over 40 patents to his name and a career that, in addition to McCormick, has spanned prominent roles within PPG, Coca-Cola, and Heinz. With 30 years of experience building off his PhD in Polymer Chemistry from Michigan State University, Michael has a unique background in working both with colour changing (chromogenic) systems as well as novel packaging materials and concepts, including interactive packaging.

Dr. Harri Kopola

Fellow - Organic Electronics Association

Dr. Kopola is a pioneer in the printed electronics industry, who started printed electronics research on flexible substrates in the late 1990s within VTT Technical Research Centre of Finland. He has publications and patents in various disciplines of electronics, optoelectronics and printed electronics. From 2006-2009, Kopola led VTT’s spearhead program ‘Center for Printed Intelligence’, and in 2008 headed the founding of the PrintoCent printed intelligence industrialization community, which to date has produced 26 spin-off companies and linked these to a network of global scale companies. In 2018 Harri was appointed Fellow of the Organic Electronics Association (OE-A) – regarding his selection, the jury cited his instrumental role in promoting industrialization of printed electronics internationally.


Dr. Rudi Leuschner

Associate Professor, Rutgers Business School

Professor Leuschner is an Associate Professor in the Department of Supply Chain Management and the Program Director for the online Master of Science in Supply Chain Management program at Rutgers Business School. He is the creator of the Rutgers Supply Chain Management MOOC specialization. His research focuses on the end-to-end supply chain and the integration of its three primary flows: products, information and finances. Specifically, in the new field of Supply Chain Finance, he has been active in developing relevant insights for academics and practitioners. He co-developed the Rutgers Business School Payment Practices Index, which ranks retailers' performance. He received his Ph.D. in Logistics and a minor in Marketing from Ohio State University. His work has appeared among others in the Journal of Supply Chain Management, Journal of Business Logistics, Decision Sciences, the Journal of Business Ethics, Harvard Business Review, and Rutgers Business Review.

Tiffany Vasilchik

SVP Growth Strategy, Magid


Ms. Vasilcik has spent over 20 years positioning brands for growth. With experience spanning both the client and consulting sides, she has worked with both established and early-stage companies across virtually every consumer-facing category.  She loves a brand challenge.   Most recently, Tiffany was Chief Growth Officer at Landor and a Partner at Prophet, a leading brand consultancy. Tiffany also gained deep innovation experience as the Head of New Business at Fahrenheit 212 and and as VP, Consulting forThinkLAB, the innovation consulting practice of Material ConneXion, the world's largest global materials library. Her own entrepreneurial ventures include founding Heard It From A Mom (HIFAM), a new product community of over 25,000Moms and HeartCam, a non-invasive cardiac imaging practice at Penn Presbyterian Medical Center. Inspired by creating the future, Tiffany served as principal and director of consulting services at BrainReserve, a trend-based marketing consultancy founded by trend expert and author, Faith Popcorn. Early in her career, she worked in brand management at Nabisco and Pepsi-Cola. A graduate of Cornell University's School of Hotel Administration with a major in Food & Beverage, Tiffany received her MBA from the University of Chicago Booth School of Business.

Seda Evis

Designer-in-Residence at the University of California San Diego’s DesignLab


Seda Evis is an award-winning business leader, combining strategy with design process and user-centered insights leading to growth. She designs new products, services, businesses that spark change for Fortune 500 companies such as Amazon, Nike, Toyota, Philips, GE, Herman Miller, with persistence to see it through from vision to build. Seda is a Designer-in-Residence at the University of California San Diego’s DesignLab, led by Don Norman. She’s also an incoming board member at Design Forward Alliance, a non-profit that promotes human-centered design as a tool to help advance San Diego as a premier city for business, education, and enjoyment. She holds an Urban Design and Planning degree from Middle East Technical University in Ankara, Turkey, with a minor in Architectural Conservation and a Masters in Business Administration from the University of San Diego.

Dr. Harlan Byker

Founder and CEO - Pleotint LLC.

Dr. Byker is a world-leading expert on electrochromism and thermochromism. He has over 30 years of scientific research and development, invention, manufacturing and patent experience. Harlan gained his PhD in Physical Chemistry at Montana State University. He is an inventor and/or co-inventor on 53 US patents. As a research scientist at Battelle Laboratories, Harlan invented the chemistry portion of the first commercially successful electrochromic device, an automatic dimming rear view mirror for motor vehicles commercialized by Gentex, a company in which Harlan became a Board member and
VP of research, before founding Pleotint, a company focused on self-tinting building windows.

Adam E.Laubach

Lab-to-Fab Leadership

Mr. Laubach serves as the technology advisor for Exothermix, a Texas-based company focusing on materials and products through self-heating technology. He was CEO of Exothermix from2014 to 2018. Before joining Exothermix in 2011, he served as the chief technology officer for multiple technology companies, including ReVoltTechnologies, GSI Technologies, and Aveso Displays, an early pioneering company in printed electronic displays. Laubach also spent 13 years with Dow Chemical.Today, Laubach is the director of Amani Baby Cottage in Jinja, Uganda. His contributions in worldwide missions’ work include developing a desalination system for a community in Haiti, wells and filter systems that provide clean water in Honduras, and clean-burning stoves and ovens in Uganda. Mr. Laubachhas a SB in Chemistry and BA in German from Texas State University and anM.B.A. from The University of Texas.

Mitchell Huang

Transformative Finance Consultant

Mr. Huang joins Ynvisible as a technology and finance advisor specializing in the financing lifecycle of technology companies. Over the course of his 20-year career, he has helped companies ranging from Fortune 100 companies to seed-stage startups use financial products to reach their business goals. Recently, Mr. Huang served as an early employee in several technology startups, including VenueNext and EVAAutomation, structuring growth capital investments and managing finance. Before working at startups, Huang spent 13 years at JPMorgan Chase as Executive Director of the Special Investments Group, focusing on private equity and growth capital investments. Huang also held positions in credit trading, restructuring and leveraged finance. Mitchell Huang received his S.B. in Biology from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology. He lives in Brooklyn, New York.


Sal Pellingra

Vice President, Global Application & Innovation, ProAmpac


Mr. Pellingra's passion for packaging and innovation has led to increasing positions of responsibility in manufacturing, product development, market development, marketing and innovation leading to Sal's current position as Vice PresidentGlobal Application and Innovation Development at ProAmpac. Sal focuses on new applications of and for flexible packaging as well as focusing on solutions for global and emerging brands. His broad experience from polymers and film development, through converting, application development, shelf life and end uses of packaging and his far reaching co-supplier relationships help brands find new solutions and stay relevant. ProAmpac is seen as a leader in innovative packaging and has evidence of that in the number of packaging awards it receives each year through his technical leadership. Prior to ProAmpac, Sal spent 25 years with the ExxonMobil Films Business working in product development, marketing development, and as the Americas Market SegmentManager for four core market segments. Sal holds a BS and MBA from Rochester Institute of Technology. Sal also holds 18 US patents and among other honors has received a Global Technology Award fromExxonMobil Chemical Company. He is also an Adjunct Professor in Packaging at the University of Cincinnati.
